Tour of Canterbury (excluding Cathedral)

How well do you really know Canterbury?

Do you know why its cathedral is the oldest in the country, which famous playwrights were born in the Canterbury area?  What is the city's link with the Pilgrim Fathers and the Mayflower, as well as many other questions?

Join us at 10:30 on Tuesday, 17 September 2024 for a guided tour of the city with Frank Dowling when he will take us around the city telling us about some of these interesting people, and more.  The tour is expected to take between 1½ and 2 hours.  You should therefore be able to remain mobile for this period of time to come on the tour.

Please note, the tour will NOT go into the cathedral or its precincts:  the cathedral puts on its own tours.

Frank is a fully qualified Canterbury and South East England tourist guide holding the
internationally recognised green badge for the city and the blue badge for the south east region.
